The Renaissance Man is a tribute to my favorite artist of all time, Michelangelo Buonarroti.

The David, one of his most notable masterpieces, inspires me deeply each year when I visit the Accademia.

As I embark on a personal renaissance in sculpting and mosaic art, I felt it fitting to honor the greatest.

​

This mosaic is my first artwork to bridge the gap between various styles I love. The spray paint on the left represents my street art roots, while the vibrant colors and shadow work reflect Pop art influences.

 

The mosaic technique itself showcases my passion for traditional art forms.

In this way, The Renaissance Man represents both Michelangelo and myself.

This piece marks the beginning of a new chapter in my career, opening the door to mosaics and other traditional methods.
